What is Reading Go!?

Reading Go! is an elementary literacy intervention for striving readers. The program brings together some of the best instructional practices from the field of reading science into a highly engaging, multimodal session that provides students with explicit and systematic instruction to support their foundational reading skills. Every Reading Go! lesson provides a student with the opportunity to work on their skills related to all 5 of the essential components of literacy: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.

Who is it for?

Reading Go is implemented by interventionists and teachers to support one-to-one and small group intervention for students in first through third grade. Reading Go! lessons can also be led by pre-service educators. Educators are able to build their skills, knowledge, and motivation to support emerging readers through hands-on experience, the Reading Go! asynchronous training and ongoing professional learning opportunities.
